MALT Tour & Lunch

This Friday we're hosting an Orchard Tour and Lunch with our friends at Marin Agricultural Land Trust (MALT). This is one of the last opportunities we'll have for you to visit the ranch before harvest, and it happens to be during one of our favorite times of year. Our trees are speckled with green olive fruit, our gardens are overflowing with early Autumn veggies and the long, hot summer days that slowed up down last month are mellow and perfectly crisp.

Here's a look at what are garden girls are harvesting for Friday's lunch and a peek at the menu:

creamed white corn frittata

french fingerling and sunchoke salad with fresh mache

baby McEvoy Ranch greens - arugula, rhubarb chard, spinach, shungiku

butter-braised radish, kohlrabi and baby magda squash

Dolcini Ranch grilled bavette of beef

fall fruit dessert with asian pears and quince
