All of us here at McEvoy Ranch know how lucky we are to live and work in this beautiful corner of the planet. We're proud of it, too. We work and play with an incredible community of passionate, involved folks who never take this place for granted. The Marin County Convention and Visitor's Bureau and Visit Marin are one group who do a wonderful job of promoting Marin County as a destination for visitors from near and far. They certainly have a wealth of resources at their disposal; Marin County is one of the most beautiful and diverse locations in California. The county invested in land conservation in the 50's and 60's, so outdoor activities abound. Centered around Mt. Tamalpais and the Point Reyes National Seashore, there is something for every outdoor enthusiast. After a day of mountain biking, kayaking or hiking, visitors have their pick of luxurious lodging, dining and nightlife options. A remarkable artisan food producing community make Marin a leader in the organic farming movement. And it's all a short drive across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.
Now, Visit Marin has created a delightful new video showcasing some of the stunning locations available to the visitor to Marin County. It's a lot of fun to watch, with beautiful vistas and interesting insights. We may be a bit biased, however, since McEvoy Ranch is prominently featured, with our own Shari Ranney as spokesperson. We share the stage with some of our favorite neighbors, including Straus Family Creamery, Slide Ranch, Nick's Cove and others.
