Today we've got a holiday themed "Tasty Tuesday" planned for our Ferry Building shop.
Stop in after your farmers' market shopping for a simple holiday tasting and take away some new olive oil ideas to share with your friends and family (or any little elves that might need a midnight snack on Christmas Eve).
We'll be pairing our new oil with some bittersweet ganache from our neighbors at Scharffen Berger for a suprising dessert combination. And in case you've never baked with olive oil, we'll be giving out an easy Olio Nuovo & Lemon cookie recipe from our McEvoy cookbook, The Olive Harvest, created by our head chef, Gerald Gass.
In keeping with the theme, here's another alternative use for our extra virgin olive oil from the San Francisco Chronicle: olive oil ice creamwith candied fennel recipe.
