Last summer we hosted our first-ever cooking demonstration at the ranch with Head Chef Gerald Gass. It looked a lot like this:And it tasted very much like this: Green Salad with Prosciutto-wrapped plums and Nicasio Valley Cheese Company Nicasio Square with Plum Vinaigrette Hot Smoked Halibut with apple and onion pickles Cherry/Olive Oil Upside Down cake with Buttermillk & Creme Fraiche Ice Cream In case you missed it, we have a similar event set for Saturday, August 13th. Of course Gerald can't share his menu because he hasn't written one yet. As a strictly seasonal chef, he must wait and see what fruits are perfectly ripe and which veggies are ready for harvest that day in our Petaluma gardens. It's safe to say there will be McEvoy Ranch extra virgin olive oil woven into the menu, but for all the other details, you'll just have to sign up & join us!
