Mill Valley Gourmet Food & Wine Event

Yesterday, I cruised over the bridge for the annual Mill Valley Gourmet Food & Wine Event to represent McEvoy at the Tyler Florence booth. (Yes, sometimes my job is really tough!)

Tyler was grilling up the most delicious dessert sandwich I've ever had: grilled circles of soft white bread, oozing with melted brie and strawberry jam. Needless to say, being on the inside was a definite bonus because the line for said sandwich was a solid forty people deep all afternoon. Tyler's wife, Tolan, brought in a few of their favorite products from their Mill Valley shop around the corner, including our 80 Acres bodycare line and our new Limited Edition extra virgin olive oil. I was in great company with our Petaluma neighbors, LaLoo's goat's milk ice cream, and my new favorite bubbly alternative, Golden Star White Jasmine sparkling tea. Both Laloos and Gold Star are clean, green and local, just like us, and after spending all afternoon sipping that marvelous tea and sampling strawberry balsamic goat's milk ice cream, I'm even more convinced of the Florences' excellent taste.
