Olive Oil Dinner at Luce

lucelogoWednesday, August 26th, Luce restaurant in San Francisco's InterContinental, is hosting a spectacular dinner featuring our own extra virgin olive oil and wines from Napa Valley's Robert Craig winery. It's always a thrill to see what talented chefs do with our oil, and something tells me Luce's award-winning chef de cuisine, Dominique Crenn, is definitely going to wow us. After all, when we met to plan this dinner several months ago, the first words that came out of her mouth were: "I am French, you know, so I LOVE zeeeee olive oil!" Chef Crenn has prepared a McEvoy-inspired four-course tasting menu (which I'll be posting on the blog next week) with our signature Traditional blend and Limited Edition blend extra virgin olive oils. She's also going to feature some of our stunning "fresh from the ranch"organic produce, and I even heard mention of an olive oil sorbet! Each of Chef Crenn's courses will be paired with wines from Robert Craig Winery. Robert Craig celebrates three decades as a Napa Valley "mountain man," producing distinctive Cabernet Sauvignons from vineyards in the highest, most remote reaches of the Valley. Like Nan McEvoy, he's a pioneer in his industry, and we're proud to share the spotlight with another bold taste of Northern California. From first forkful to final sip, this promises to be an evening of sensory delight, and we hope you all can join us.
