Top 10 Wine Country Picks By 80 Acres

This entry was posted on August 28, 2013 by McEvoy Ranch.

IMG_4036Certainly we're partial to our own McEvoy Ranch wines, but we're also very grateful to be surrounded by some of the finest grape-growing regions in the world, right here in Northern California. With Napa and Sonoma Valleys just east of us, the Alexander Valley and Anderson Valley to our north and hundreds of gems along the Central Coast, there's always an opportunity for a Sideways- inspired tour of California. If you're heading this way, here are 10 of our favorite spots (where you might even stumble onto some Verde, Lavender and Blood Orange products to freshen up after your tasting):McEvoy Fall Harvest 2012
Robert Mondavi, Oakville
Fransiscan Winery, St. Helena
Clos Du Bois, Geyserville
Silver Oak Cellars, Oakville
Domaine Carneros, Napa
Andrew Murray Vineyards, Los Olivos
Benzinger Family Vineyards, Glen Ellen
De Loach Vineyards, Santa Rosa
Korbel, Guernville
Parducci Cellars, Ukiah
And if you'd like to try McEvoy Ranch wines, our San Francisco Ferry Building shop offers public tastings every Tuesday and Friday afternoon from 4pm-6pm.
