Pairing wines with seasonal foods is an everyday event for us at the ranch, but since we released our inaugural vintages in 2013, we've discovered that wine complements our other passions, too.
Saturday September 20th, we'll host our first event exploring wellness and stress-relief through yoga, meditation, botanical therapy and wine.
We're honored to have Amanda Giacomini begin our afternoon with a 90-minute yoga class. Amanda, who co-owns Yoga Toes Studio in Pt. Reyes Station with her husband MC Yogi, has studied yoga for over for over 20 years, and is dedicated to a practice based on uplifting the world through yoga, music and art.Following Sivasana, guests will retreat to our Chinese Pavillion for a guided meditation and a mini workshop exploring the therapeutic benefits of ranch-grown botanicals, and discuss their role in our olive oil-based body care collection, 80 Acres. Each guest will create a custom blend choosing from an assortment of healing herbs, flowers and roots for use in our afternoon facial steams and at home.
We'll end the day with tasting of our current vintages, paired with seasonal bites sourced from our organic gardens.
