Spring Spiced Peach This preserve features the July Elberta peach developed in nearby Santa Rosa, CA by Luther Burbank (1849 – 1926), the man who also brought us the Burbank potato, the Shasta daisy, and the Santa Rosa plum (found in our Plum & Anise Preserves). We combine this yellow-fleshed variety with white-fleshed Babcock and Strawberry Free peaches to creates a nuanced backdrop for lemon verbena and thyme picked from our kitchen garden. Stir some into a warm bowl of oatmeal and top with almonds for breakfast or spoon a dollop atop a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Tomato + Rosemary Preserves The rosemary standing tall outside the entrance to our olive mill is liked by butterflies and bees alike when it shows its purple blooms. We like to steep it in the final stage of our Tomato + Rosemary Preserves. This savory spread makes any really good grilled cheese sandwich great.
Meyer Lemon + Mint Marmalade This year we added some freshly harvested mint into a few batches of our Meyer Lemon Marmalade for a small batch treat that makes one delicious vinaigrette.
