This Rhône-style wine is a blend of Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne. The Viognier lends a firm acidity and note of honeysuckle while the Marsanne and Roussanne give more body. The nose is full of stone fruit, green almond, and honeysuckle, and the crisp mouthfeel keeps this balanced. Apricot shines through along with pear, almond, and wet stone, all creating a really intriguing interplay of flavors. The finish has a touch of minerality and viscosity that are compelling and make you want another glass. We recommend serving lightly chilled for optimum flavor.
The Bonfiglio Vineyard is located on the banks of the Russian River, surrounded by several species of oak, madrone, elderberry, and other native plants. The vineyard has been farmed organically for more than a decade.
