Grown at the La Vigne Vineyard in Maremma's Montecucco region in Tuscany, the 2016 Saimuun Sangiovese has aromas of spiced, dried fruit, with medium body and acidity; earth with light tannins, and a savory finish. Barrel aged for 18 months.
The vineyards are cooled by the Tyrrhenian winds which gives this Sangiovese its rich fruit and combination of minerality and salinity. A bottle with your favorite pasta or antipasto and you just might feel like you've been transported to Tuscany!
