Jacquelyn Buchanan, McEvoy Ranch’s Culinary Director will show how to prepare food to boost your immune system. Jill Lee, adjunct professor in Nutrition at Santa Rosa JC, will illustrate the benefits of high polyphenols and antioxidants in Extra Virgin olive oil and the many ways to use it.

After the discussion and demonstration, there will be an opportunity to taste delicious morsels to get your creative culinary juices going. Finally, Jacquelyn and Jill will take you on a garden walk where the wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh, who wrote “How to Eat” and “How to Walk,” will be the inspiration. The walk concludes back at the Frantoio where you can enjoy a tasting flight and relax in our gorgeous setting.

Keeping it simple can be the solution. Spend the afternoon with us and see for yourself.

    Please Note

The weather can change quickly; jackets, sunglasses, hats and umbrellas may come in handy. Mildly rainy conditions will not cancel the tour, event or workshop. Please leave your pets at home as they are not allowed in our buildings and vehicles parked on the gravel get extremely hot in the sun.

The speed limit is 15 mph or less once you turn off the main road, out of respect for our neighbors and the local wildlife. McEvoy Ranch is a private residence; please stay with your group during your visit.
