Angelica Dessert Wine

Angelica is a fortified sweet wine deeply rooted in California history, here reimagined with fruit from Marin County’s Pacheco Ranch. Lot 4 is a carefully composed blend of 49.3% from 2024, 24.6% from 2022, and 24.6% from 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, plus a small portion of 2024 Pinot Grigio for brightness.

This wine’s pale reddish-amber hue hints at the layers within—fresh grape sweetness from the younger components alongside walnut-like savor and caramelized citrus from the older lots. Aged in neutral oak, it shows remarkable complexity without overt oakiness.

On the palate, it’s silky and gently sweet, with notes of dried fig, golden raisin, and orange peel, balanced by warm spice. Enjoy it cool as a digestif, paired with salted nuts, or alongside fruit-based desserts. Stable after opening, it can be savored over many days.
