The 2022 Bunny Gate Red Wine blends 59% Montepulciano, 28% Sagrantino, and 16% Barbera from San Benito County’s Siletto Family Vineyard. Montepulciano provides mid-palate richness and plush, juicy fruit; Barbera brightens the blend with its lively acidity; and Sagrantino contributes a fine-grained tannin structure that frames the finish beautifully.

The cool early season of 2022, followed by a concentrated Labor Day heat spike, gave this wine both energy and ripeness—ideal for a red that is equally at home on the table or enjoyed on its own. Expect vibrant notes of cherry, pomegranate, and plum, supported by subtle dried herbs and cocoa.

Serve slightly cool alongside pizza, pasta with tomato-based sauces, or grilled vegetables.
