Football is not the only reason people are obsessed with the Big Game.Okay - it's the primary reason. This is especially true now if you live in the Bay Area. There are those commercials, however, and it turns out Superbowl food is a very hot topic. Let me help with the food part. In addition to the previous blog's suggestion of combining country Dijon mustard and McEvoy Ranch Spicy Green Olive Tapenade as a sauce for your "piggies" - here are some other thoughts.
- Slice and toast a sourdough baguette, top with McEvoy Ranch Classic Italian Bruschetta and some string cheese "laces" - cute and delicious! (pictured above)
- Slice and toast another baguette, top with McEvoy Ranch Olive & Roasted Red Pepper Tapenade, some pepperoni, and some shredded parmesan.
- Slice and toast a baguette (are you sensing a theme here?), top with McEvoy Ranch Lemon and Artichoke Bruschetta, grate on some Pt. Reyes Toma and run under the broiler until the cheese melts.
- Some of the suggestions on the Stocking your Pantry blog could come in handy as well to build a big bountiful Superbowl Board.
